I first found out about the Shiseido Elixir skincare line from a friend who used them religiously. I'd been neglecting my skin at the time and really needed to start taking better care of it, so I wanted to find out more about a line of products that ACTUALLY WORKED.
I did a bit of research for myself online and found mostly postitive results, but I was still undecided as to which product I wanted to try. I talked my friend into letting me borrow her Shiseido Elixir Treatment Mask. WOW... I didn't expect anything really to happen so fast but I noticed a prononunced difference in my skin just within the first week of using it just a couple times. It peeled off nicely and left my skin feeling super clean and smooth. It was a refreshing feeling and I could see that my skin was doing better already.

I went through SO MANY mediocre cleansers before finding this amazing product line. Everything that was previously recommended (various cleansing cloths, Cetaphil, Lancome, Clinique, etc., etc. etc.) never helped my skin to improve AT ALL. Usually the product would leave a filmy feeling over it (and them I would promptly break out) or leave my skin so dry there were actaully itchy patches on it. I tried the general Shiseido ‘The Cleanser’ before this line after getting free samples and noticed an impovement, but it wasn’t until the Elixr line that I found the magic. Ever since I was young, I had consistent dry patches mixed with large pores on nose and cheeks mixed with easily irritated red parts mixed with uneven skin tone mixed with breakouts. FUN! If I washed too much it got incredibly dry, if I tried to be more natural I would break out. Now with the system of Cleanser, Softner and Emulsion (I don’t use the Toner because all Toners make my skin too dry and irritated) I have found the solution. My skin has never looked more clear or even and I actually get compliments on it, which had never happened before. Gentle and so helpful for people with bizarre combination skin like me. However, the packaging looks nothing like the pix currently posted above- it is white with pink lettering.
