There are several top name skin car product brands that promise significant results. Among these brands that specifically focus on anti aging is StriVectin. StriVectin SD is the number one selling anti aging product in America and was voted number one skin care product in France. However, just like other amazing products; there are the occasional side effects that occur from time to time.
The only real StriVectin SD side effects include mild to moderate redness, mild itching (for the first two weeks of treatment, especially when using StriVectin SD in the form of the anti wrinkle cream), and mild to moderate irritation around the eyes. In order to eliminate the red around the eye look, one should keep this product off the eye area and use StriVectin Eye Cream in order to reduce the crow’s feet. Those are the only side effects that occur when using StriVectin SD.
People often compare StriVectin SD to Botox because they both help fight and eliminate the same things. A forty five year old woman heard about StriVectin SD from one of her friends. She said it worked wonders on her face and made her wrinkles disappear faster than the Cookie Monster after he stole a cookie. So she decided to try it on her own face. During the first week she noticed a bit of redness and thought that this product would work like every other skin care product she had tried. However, after that initial week of use, she noticed the redness was gone and that her deep wrinkles were starting to slowly but surely fade away. She thought “Wow!” this stuff is really working. After about four weeks of use, her skin appeared to be the skin of a twenty year old college student. She was so amazed and happy. The only side effect she experienced was redness. Other than that she was good to go.
Basically this review is trying to say that StriVectin is great for anti aging and that it will not cause any harsh side effects. Compared to Botox, it is like splashing water on your face as far as comparing side effects. StriVectin SD is a great anti aging skin care product and the side effects are very minimal.

I purchased StriVectin-SD Eye cream on a thursday, I tested the cream on my arm as directed on the instructions and had no side effects. However, after using it as directed on the area under my eyes, on Friday night on a clean face and again on Saturday morning before applying my make-up. Saturday afternoon I experienced a burning sensation around my eyes, I cleansed my face that evening and did not use it because I had redness around my eyes and they still burned. I woke up at 2:30 a.m. with the skin around my eyes swollen an red. I immediately used ice and at 7:00 a.m. my eyes were swollen, burning and red. I will return the eye cream to Macy’s tomorrow. It is apparent, I am allergic to something in the cream and will not use it again. I also purchased the neck cream and have had no side effects from that.

I’ve also tried StriVectin-SD Eye cream as well as the face cream. It’s been about 2 weeks now and I’ve had no side effects at all. So far I’ve noticed a reduction in lines on my forehead which is amazing. I purchased it from TSC and it was strongly recommended that it be used in conjunction with your regular facial cremes and not to be used alone. The StriVectin is applied first on clean skin and then follow with your usual facial/eye creme. This is extremely important and it should be indicated on the label but it’s not. Using it alone may be one of the reasons why some people are experiencing these side effects.
