My Bio Oil Review

Hi! This is Jenn. Today I just want to do a review on Bio Oil. And what Bio Oil is, it just contains PurCellin oil and it’s supposed to be really, really good for you. It’s supposed to help with scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, ageing skin or dehydrated skin. And there is sixty milliliters of this in here. And actually I think, kinda got this maybe a few months back I picked it up. Actually I went to Shopper’s Drug Mart and they were all sold out and I guess everyone really likes it. It’s the next big thing.

When I tried it out actually on myself before at the same time it does work. I tried it around my belly button area. I used to have my belly button pierced and I took off the piercing and then it just left a big scar there. I actually pierced it two times so the scar was really, really bad. The skin was very thick and the color was all dark. And after using Bio Oil, the skin around the area now feels softer, the skin’s not thick and the color is lighter like my skin tone now.

So What Exactly Do Other People Say About Bio Oil?

Heck not every product out there is a miracle worker, I am sure very few give overnight results. I began using this product every single day about two months ago and it works WONDERS. First you can use it for stretch marks but with a 2 oz. bottle I would stick with small areas. Then you can use it for scars and to moisturize your face and neck, ladies! You must follow the instructions even though they are pretty simple. If I am using this for acne scars, skin discolorations (sun exposure), uneven skin tone I apply either over makeup (may not be recommended as this could remove your makeup)and on a freshly washed face. I use the lengths of my fingers not fingertips since they produce the oils that could cause you breakouts from YES touching your face. I rub into the affected area or scar (even works on cystic acne scars) atleast two to three times a day when I am able to. But if not I do this at night before going to bed.

Be patient and wait one to two weeks before you notice a big difference as the scar gets lighter your face appears to be glowing and skin discolorations slowly fade. Keep on it atleast everyday and if you want faster results like I did then rub this oil into the area two to three times a day. I am glad I bought this and one bottle lasted me over two months and I used it everyday! Give this product a try, be patient, follow the directions and you may not be disappointed.

I bought 2 bottles of this, one for me and one for a friend. I don't have a lot of problems with my skin, but I do have some discoloration, and my friend has white splotches on her skin. She has been using creams from her dermatologist that haven't worked, after 3 weeks of using the Bio-Oil the white spots seem to be fading. And my skin seems to be softer and more healthy. Overall we're both seeing great results in a short time. And you only need a few drops per use, so our bottles should last awhile.

So it does work. And I was a little hesitant at first in trying Bio Oil. I guess I just thought that you know, if it didn’t work for my scar, stretch marks or what-not, at least you know keep my skin hydrated.

I can’t really describe the smell but it's not bad. It’s not anything like medication smell or anything like that. It is slightly oily so I would use it before bed or something like that or after my shower before I go to bed but it’s a little bit oily. But it evaporates off your skin pretty quickly. But yeah, I bought this online at Amazon, it was a great price. So it’s pretty cheap if you shop around. If you happen to give it a try, let me know how it works out for you.
