The Dermalogica Skin Prep Scrub is made to remove dead skin cells without irritating sensitive skin. My esthetician swears by Dermalogica products and when I was in the market for a new exfoliater this was one of the first ones I researched.

Makeupalley users gave this product a 4/5 with 92 reviews strong so I went ahead and tried it out because of the overly positive response to the product. Since Dermalogica prodcuts are pretty popular its really easy to get, I ordered mine on Amazon for $22 + shipping so it isn't terribly expensive compared to other brands like Obagi or Skinceuticals.

After using this exfoliator I would recommend following up with a moisturizer because depending on your skin it might make it feel dry/tight.

"The best exfoliator I have every used! You can just leave it on your skin for a few minutes and it does the work. Leaves the skin feeling soft, smooth and comfortable afterwards. Is not abrasive and does not dry the skin. Skin looks visibly smoother and glowing afterwards. Would definately buy again."

"After using this it does make my face temporarily soft, but it's definitely not the best exfoliator I've used. It's just mediocre. It didn't really help to get rid of all my dry patches. I have acne-prone, sensitive skin so I didn't really love this product as much as I wanted to."

-angelakahealre @ makeupalley

"This was indeed a lovely product to use! had a slightly nutty-biscuit scent and the grains weren't too sharp and scratchy. It certainly did make my t-zone smoother without making my entire face like a tomato.
It is quite expensive for the quantity you get which is probably its only real downfall."

-CocoMinx @ makeupalley

"I'm an Esthetician and I use Dermalogica. It's a great product line and I LOVE their skin prep scrub. I highly recommend it! I also love that Dermalogica does not test on animals!!"

Because I have sensitive skin my esthetician recommended the Dermalogica skin care line to me. From what I understand this brand performs especially well for people with irritable skin - everything else hadn't worked for me so I figured I would give them a shot. I started out by trying Dermalogica Daily Resurfacer.

Before trying this product I had tried almost every exfoliator under the sun. They didn't really remove the old, dull surface of the skin very well plus nearly all of them irritated my skin to one degree or another.

Enter in Dermalogica Daily Resurfacer. The first night I tried it it "Wowed" me. Not only did it do a fine job of removing the dull skin but it didn't irritate my skin whatsoever.

More Experiences with Dermalogica Daily Resurfacer

"must have, but can't have... Rolling Eyes if only it wasn't so expensive! It's USD65 for 35 doses and if used daily, I can't stretch it to last longer than a little over a month! Sad (having said that I'll probably just cave in and get the whole can anyways... Bad Grin )"
-Pumpingmummy @ essentialdayspa

"The Daily Resurfacer has made a dramatic improvement in my skin. After only 2 weeks of use my skin tone has evened out, some of redness in my skin has lightened and my skin appears brighter overall."
-C. Kelly @ Amazon

"Unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to see the results you experienced. I couldn't tell any difference in my skin. No smoothing or brightening whatsoever. I had previously used Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant and products with higher AHA's, so the Resurfacer seemed to be so mild it was like plain water on my skin.

Of course this doesn't mean it isn't a great product. My 40 something skin just needed something stronger. I'd say it would be great for anyone with sensitive skin."

Is The Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser a Junk Product?

The major downside to my skin is that it's very sensitive. I was getting breakouts way too often and it was difficult to deal with them because nearly every facial wash I used gave me a horrible rash or made my skin breakout even more.

Before I tried Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser I was in dire straits because of all the above reasons.

This is the perfect cleanser to use if you've got the same skin situation I do. I've been using it for more than a year and couldn't be happier!

Because I'm an esthetician I've been through a ton of different skin care products. One of my favorite lines is Dermalogica because I've had the best experiences with it over the years. I often recommend it to my clients who come in.

When it comes to the Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner, it's very refreshing and does the job well. From what I understand, it also restores the skin right back to it's proper PH state. I'm not sure what kind of secret formula Dermalogica employs to do something like that, but all I can say is that it works very well for my clients and I.

My Conclusion for Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner

Because I've lived in Canada all my life my skin gets pretty damaged from the colder weather that we get up here. My skin's also developed a bit of sun damage over the years which I was looking to repair.

After I began to use Dermalogica Barrier Repair alongside some moisturizers I noticed huge improvements to my skin in just a few weeks. It restored a smooth feeling to my skin without that annoying sticky feeling.

If you've got bad skin like mine then Barrier Repair would do well to keep it protected.
