Now understand me clearly that it does “not” in any way cause your skin to produce new cells. Period! However; what it does do, it does quite well and this is why it's a top seller. It strips away dead skin cells as it cleanses.

It's two primary active ingredients for the exfoliation process are glycolic acid 1% and salicylic acid 1%. One fairly mild acid and another that is a bit more powerful and that can cause irritation. The glycolic acid.

Glycolic acid has the innate ability to “penetrate” and this is why it's commonly used in the dying of fabrics. Another one of it's characteristics, is that it also tends to impart a glossy finish on organic products that comes into contact with it. (Your skin)

So understand that while in no way will this face wash promote cell division, between these two mild and semi mild acids, you can count on it to dissolve away dead skin cells and leave you with a nice glossy finish.

So would I recommend it? Sure why not! If the glycolic acid doesn't cause you any problems and it most likely won't. You're basically getting a high quality face wash and a proven exfoliant, both in one container for the the price of one.

Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle is one of the most controversial wrinkle creams I've ever come across. It has a hefty share of negative reviews which I haved shared at the bottom.

I had a chance to try it for a full month - the results? Meh. Average at best for the high price you're paying (maybe my expectations were too high?).

The biggest complaint by far is the PRICE. Although the reviews are a little outdated (dating back from '07) the price is still pretty high. $75 these days, back then it was $100+. I was able to find a better deal on amazon. I'm not sure if they've lowered the price because of the negative reviews or if the price just drops over time.

Either way buying the single 1 fl oz bottle is NOT your best bet. The Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Kit comes with a 0.5 fl oz bottle of Unwrinkle, along with 3 other Unwrinkle products: the Unwrinkle peel pads, Unwrinkle Night, and Unwrinkle Lip Balm. At $68 I think this is some kind of PTR discount: they want to make the deal so good so you try out all their products and get hooked.

"This stuff is a godsend - I noticed a difference the very next day after I used it. Buying these products on their own can be crazy expensive - it's so nice that they put everything you need into one kit, in a smaller size - I only use it once or twice a week, so the smaller sized products are perfect.

The lip gloss is really the only thing I don't care for - it does work, and it smell really good - but it's very waxy and a little clumpy. "I bought this item first time on ebay for one third of its store price. I would say its a good moisturizer for oily skin thats all. I dont have much wrinkle but what ever I have it didn't make any difference to them. I used one 1 oz. bottle and one 2 oz bottle ( all bought from ebay) . A 1 oz. bottle runs for about 1 month.... No noticeable difference. So Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue boasts a $100 price tag which puts it into the triple digit echelon of possible scams OR miracle creams that actually work.

I dug online and found mixed reviews. I was hoping for one thing or the other, but unfortunately the amount of negative reviews is balanced with the amount of positive.

"I have noticable undereye cirlces and bought this product in the hopes it you lighten them a bit. I use this product in the mornings and evenings for several weeks. Nothing changed. I figured maybe it would take more then a few weeks to notice anything so I continued to use this product (use the entire jar, just to give it plenty of time), still not difference could be seen. For me it was a waste of money."

Certainly, not everyone has plastic surgery enough to really justify the cost and to use it as some kind of after surgery healing cream. BUT if it really did work like that maybe it lends some credibility to the fact that Power K Eye Rescue really can heal the age damage around the eyes.
