Clinique's All About Eyes Rich is another under-eye moisturizing cream from the world recognized cosmetics maker. As such you'd think that it would be a world class product. Well, for the most part you'd be right. Some of the hype is just that, hype. As is the case with most products in this market. Companies naturally need to make greater and greater claims. This is one of the cases where, for the most part, the product lives up to its hype. No, your eyes will not look 10 years younger in 2 weeks but your eyes will benefit from the moisturizing effects and that will help fight back the bags and dark circles

Notice I said help, not cure. Of hundreds of customers reviewed most fall in the middle ground, reporting it to be a good, not great product. Furthermore, they report that in general it does what it should be doing. But no miracles. There are several reports of individuals claiming that it has a particularly good effect on the condition known as "swimmers eye." These reports are coming from swimmers for the most part so "horse's mouth" applies. The other thing to be aware of is that a number of people with sensitivity issues report some initial discomfort using the product. Over-all it’s a good product, just forget the hype and remember the quality of the maker.

moisturizes, but no changes seen

Does a nice job of moisturizing sensitive, dry areas under the eyes, but didn't see any noticeable differences in dark circles. The regular All About Eyes actually feels more refreshing to use, especially at night.

Great for swimmer's under-eye bags
by triathlete_girl
I am a new triathlete and I noticed bags under my eyes after swimming laps in the pool. Even if I'm not making up my face after a swim, I use Clinique All About Eyes creme after swimming to reduce the puffiness and give my eyes a treat! It works great!

The Truth About Dermalogica Soothing Protection Spray

Dermalogica soothing protection spray is a mist that is intended to act as an environmental shield to immediately reduce the redness and inflammation associated with stress, pollution, climatic extremes or allergies. Its primarily intended for Rosacea-prone skin, acne-prone skin, sensitive skin, and reactive skin. From what has been said by those who use it, this works. There a few reports of customers accidentally inhaling the fumes while applying it but for the most part the experience of using is reported glowingly. Both men and women can benefit from the soothing effects of the product.

The spray is designed to provide immediate relief from irritation caused by exposure to the outside environment. Its targeted for those who have skin sensitivity issues and it would appear that it does just that. There is a bit of a sheen that is left behind when you apply it for the first time but your other cosmetics routines should take care of this. The real benefit seems to come with prolonged use so if your considering this you should plan on using it for a while. But the immediate effect is enough to make it worthwhile. Its made with Green Tea, Balm Mint, Cucumber, Licorice, Raspberry, Canadian Willow Herb and has Anti-Ozonate Complex as well. The truth? It works.

I'm a red faced Irishman and this stuff definitely helps to lessen the redness and make my skin a little more even toned. I use the ultra calming clenzer as well. too ra loo ra loo.

The woman who was giving me a facial in December recommended this, along with some other Dermalogica products. Since she doesn't sell it, I figured it was an honest recommendation (she doesn't stand to profit from my purchase). When you spray this on (be careful not to breathe it in), it's like walking through one of those rain-forest misters at theme parks: cool and refreshing. It doesn't dry the skin like a toner, but adds moisture that stays. It dries a little shiny, but the Barrier Repair get that I apply over it takes away the shine. I don't know specifically what it's doing for my skin, but I love the way my face feels this winter, and I know it's because of this spray and the other Dermalogica products I'm using.

New From: $85.00 In Stock

Elemis Pro Collagen Eye Renewal is an Anti-Aging, intensive eye cream. The intent of the product seems to be, like many others on the market, to be a "natural", "organic" style of cosmetic treatment. The focus of the ingredients seems to be seaweed and algae. Marketing by Elemis mentions things like "Padina Pavonica" and "Methylsilanol Munnumronate," the latter being an organic derivative of seaweed. This is one of the costlier products on the market of this type. The retail is $99.00 The manufacturer is known in the U.K. Spa world where it has a very strong placement in the market.

This would explain the seaweed and algae. As to whether it works. The verdict is generally positive. The features that are most often mentioned glowingly are the smooth gel consistency and the lack of the stinging effect of many similar products. There may be some potential issues with using the product with other product on the same skin area but these are not common. It does have a definite positive impact on dark circle syndrome and can noticeably reduce the appearance of both them and bags under the eyes. Yes Elemis Pro Collagen Eye Renewal does what it says it can do. The price is rather high though, and there are other products on the market that are similar but much less expensive

My other favorite Elemis product is the Pro-Collagen Eye Renewal but I don’t often purchase it for myself because it is $99 (more than double what I’m normally willing to pay for an eye cream), but I love it because it has a light gel consistency, is non-stinging, and works wonders for my eyes.

I have been using the cream for approx. 3 weeks. I have noticed a difference in my dark circles. The only thing is when I now apply my concealer it does not sit smoothly, where as before i could get a nice smooth coverage now it just clogs up and makes my eye area look dark. Does this happen to anyone else or is it jus me

Caudalie Beauty Elixir – Is It A Scam?

No. The Caudalie Beauty Elixir is not a scam. By all reports it’s a unique product and does pretty much what it purports to do. The elixir is intended to be a mid-day toner and "pick me up." Quite simply, you spritz it on your face right over your makeup and wait for its effects, as they are almost immediate. Prepared with a mix of Rosemary, Peppermint, Lemon and Orange essences, the product produces a cooling sensation on the skin, and the smell is amazing. The products intention is to allow a mid-summer day's refresh by using carefully selected ingredients which are shown to tighten up the pores and hydrate at the same time.

This process produces a sharp, cooling, tingling sensation that refreshes you and your skin at the same time. You might want to think about keeping this in the refrigerator for those hot, summer cook-outs. Your friends will be stealing it from you and come to think about it, you might want to start keeping a six-pack in your fridge! The product was inspired by the "elixir of youth." which was used by Queen Isabelle of Hungary. Perhaps you won't lose years off your face while using it, however, at 3:30 in the afternoon on a summer day, you will look more radiant and feel much better.

I'd bought this product looking for something that would cool my face in hot, humid weather. I spritz this on over my makeup so as far as smoothing lines, I'm not sure I see that, but I do feel pores are a bit tighter and it's definitely refreshing. There's a slight tingling, not burning sensation. It smells absolutely DIVINE. I wish they'd make a candle from this fragrance. Overall, it's great and I'm glad I bought it!

Review

I've been using this product for around 4 months, and noticed a difference in my skin after a few days of use. I tend to have eczema as well as oily skin and breakouts, and this stuff always makes a big difference when i apply it at night. it's also really refreshing on a hot day. and the fragrance is nice -- kind of a mint/rosemary/botanical smell. i'd highly reccommend it--esp since it doesn't have any scary additives or preservatives. ;)

Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream Review

To begin with this product has been on the market long enough to have proven itself, for better or worse. The maker, Elemis is well known in the U.K. and European spa circuit as one of the top product choices. This is one of their flagship product lines and yes, it works. The company quotes clinical studies that indicate that winkles are significantly reduced and hydration shows a marked increase after two weeks of use. The reports of users seem to support these claims. The most striking is the fact that the user reports are almost as glowing as the companies own promotional tone. As one might expect with the word "marine" in the product name this is an algae based product. Most of the ingredients are natural or marine based the two primary ingredients are Padina Pavonica, a Mediterranean algae and Gingko Biloba.

This is a high end product and the only comments one generally finds are that the cost is barrier. The retail price is $124.00 for 50ml, but most clients make note of the fact that little is needed to achieve the results. Shopping on the internet can help by allowing you to find the best bargain. In this case it is worth doing as it will result in remarkably younger skin after just 3 weeks.

I had a slight scar on my face and within three weeks, bam! it's gone. It's also great for softening the skin. My face has the look and feel of a cool English rose. At age 57, I have a few wrinkles around the outer eye and they are still there. Maybe give it three more weeks?

I had tried Elemis products before on the Cunard line on a cruise, I read the one review about this product, and being a boomer, needed a good moisturizer - well for me this is it! You don't need much, it is incredibly rich, my skin drinks it up, and even my dermatologist (where I go monthly for dermabraisions) asked me what I was using on my skin last week! I am ordering another one. It's not your mother's old moisturizer, believe me.
