What type of antioxidant is in the coffeeberry?

What about other powerful phytochemicals?

Well wouldn't you know it! All this time that people have been crawling through swamps and jungles in search of the latest and greatest new antioxidant to package up and sell to us, it's been sitting in piles right out behind coffee plantations. So now the new rising star is the coffeeberry.

They Should Have Known Ten Years Ago!

No it's not the bean. That they take out, roast and then sell to us at grocery stores and coffee shops. Even then someone should have had some clue about a decade ago, when medical researchers announced that drinking coffee was actually good for you, due to its high antioxidant content.

It's the Outer Hull of the Coffeeberry

It's the outer hull of the little red bean that's used in skin treatment products. As it turns out, it contains an industrial strength antioxidant called phenolic acid. Acids you see are water soluble and this is so important when it comes to penetrating the outer layer of your skin.

Antioxidants Neutralize Free Radicals

Antioxidants are big now in the world of skin care products too and the more powerful the better. They function by actually neutralizing free radicals, not just in your skin but in your whole body. In fact this is precisely why topically applied antioxidants like coffeeberry cosmetics are so good for your skin.

Why Topical Antioxidants for Anti Aging?

In essence, they bring the therapeutic powers of an antioxidant directly to your skin, where it's needed to fight off free radicals and early aging. You see you can take oral antioxidants in pill form but by the time they're processed through your system, there's little left for your skin.

A Veritable Gold Mine of Phytochemicls

It's not just the phenolic acids in coffeeberry that have garnered so much attention either. In fact scientists and medical researchers are still working to understand a host of other phytochemicals that are contained in this wonderful red fruit. Possible new breakthrough discoveries of tomorrow.

Tomorrows New Anti Aging Breakthrough?

It's theorized that the hot tropical climate where the coffee trees grow, over the eons has forced and stimulated the tree to produce phytochemicals in its berries to actually protect them from its blazing rays. Mysterious phytochemicals that are now being studied in laboratories around the globe as potential new skin care breakthroughs.

If so, how long do they take?

Can they grow more actual hairs?

What about Side Effects?

No doubt but by now you've caught wind of some of the big buzz that's going on right now that's being created by eyelash growth products for sale on the Internet. Liquids in mascara type containers that are touted as being able to grow you fuller, longer lashes.

Do They Really Work?

Are Eyelash Growth Products Just All Hype?

So then what's the real story behind it all? Is this just one more “boom-to-bust” wave of hype that ends up leading all who follow it down a disappointing dead end? Or is it actually a story with merit? After all, hair growth products for balding men are old news.

Some Do Work Better Than Others

The simple answer, is yes there are viable products available that can deliver actual results, but just as in so many other cases of new developments of this type, some products work better than others and then again the worst of them are a total scam.

What These Products Can't Do

Now before I get into how you can separate the good from the bad, with regards to the eyelash growth products that are out there, I want to make one thing perfectly clear. That is that no product on the market can force your skin to create new hair follicles.

Don't Believe Everything You Read or Hear

What this means is that you're basically stuck with a set number of hairs on your body and that includes your lashes. This means that any promotional media or literature that alleges that anything can in any way get “more actual hair” to grow is false.

You Never Actually Lose Your Hair

You see your problem, if you're hair has thinned back in any way and that includes your lashes, isn't that it has gone away completely. Rather, what's happened is that it has receded back to a type of “fuzz”. The hair and follicle is still there. You just cant see it. That's all.

Before and After Photos

Helping and Stimulating Your Eyelashes to Grow Better

So eyelash growth products that work, function by stimulating any dormant follicles to “perk up” and get back in the game of producing long thick healthy hair. At the same time, they work to help those follicles that are functional to function even better.

Growing Any Hair Does Take Time

You're going to need a lot of patience though because like it or not, hair takes time to grow. This means that once you get your hands on a product that works, it will be at least a few months before you really start to see “full results”. You just have to wait for the hair to grow out.

Just One More Amazing Accidental Discovery

Would you believe that it was people with glaucoma who first began to notice that the eye drops that were prescribed to them were having an effect on their eyelashes? Well it's true and this is why the best eyelash growth products contain prostaglandin. It's the same active ingredient that's contained in glaucoma drops.

Over-Use of Growth Products Does More Harm than Good

Do be aware though that overuse can lead to real problems with your eyes. There's a whole list of side effects that can come from eyelash growth products but as long as you follow the directions and apply the product carefully, you should have no problem. Remember that overdoing it helps “not one bit”.

Actually it was several decades back, long before the health and anti aging related products community had even taken note of resveratrol that resv anti aging products reviews began to be compiled. This would be when it was noted that distinct groups of people such as the French, who regularly drank wine seemed to be being influenced by some anti aging substance.

The French Red Wine Health & Longevity Mystery

Scientists and medical researchers continually pondered just what it was in the wine drinking that consistently rendered these people so immune to common life shortening problems that afflicted those who didn't drink a few glasses of wine each day. After all, the French were noted for eating high fat foods.

One of the most recent of scientific resv anti aging reviewes has fish in Italy living 59% longer

The Very First Resv Anti Aging Reviews are Compiled

Then even after this substance was isolated out of wine, it was still some time before official clinically based resv anti aging reviews could be compiled. Expensive and time consuming tests and experiments had to ran and then the data carefully analyzed to insure that the final results would be accepted as valid by the global medical community.

In Italy Researchers Had Fish Living 59% Longer!

In some of the first formal scientific tests of resveratrol, it was common yeast cells that were found to live substantially longer when fed this curious new substance. However; the most stunning resv anti aging reviews were compiled after a series of laboratory experiments were conducted in Italy that had a species of small fishing living a full 59% longer when they had this new anti aging substance added to their diet.

Results From Human Resvaratrol Trials Could Take Decades

So of course the next step is human trials but there is one problem with tests of this sort. That is that humans live several decades, so it will be several decades at the least before resv anti aging reviews from these much more time consuming experiments can be compiled. In the mean time with no visible side effects as of yet having been observed, people around the globe who have seen the results of these animal experiments are beginning to buy and use resveratrol on a daily basis.

Did you know that research scientists have finally actually achieved the long sought after goal of increasing the life span of lab test animals. Sure it's been common knowledge for years that certain foods could make you die younger and some would help you to live longer. However; this is an all together new milestone, in that they have achieved the goal of actually effecting biological clocks. The first baby steps towards eternal life!

The First Steps Towards Discovering How To Extend Life

It was discovered that there is an as of yet to be isolated “life extending gene” that lays dormant in every living mammal. However; once this dormant gene is “awakened” it overrides the other genes that determine your life span. So how have research scientists managed to awaken this gene and cause laboratory test animals, such as mice and Reuses monkeys to outlive their parents by 30%? They've done this by raising them on low calorie diets. Simply giving them less food to live on each day.

Using Resveratrol To Actually Extend Life By As Much As 30%

Sound a little bit too simple? Well get ready because it's about to get more complicated. Thats because in the mean time, in other unrelated life extension experiments, scientist were able to duplicate the exact same results without food denial. The same behaviors, the same life extension, same everything! All by simply feeding their lab animals a substance known as resversatrol. A powerful anti oxidant found in grape skins and most notably red wine.

20 Year Best Anti Aging Products Review Study Finally Yields Definitive Answers

You have to understand that the scientists doing the food denial-low calorie experiments had been compiling data for over twenty years, the average lifespan of a Reuses monkey, which were their test animals. Hence; they had progressed much further then the “oh wow” stage of their studies and had begun to actually close in on some definitive answerers, such as the discovery of this dormant “life extension” gene.

Two Entirely Different Studies Deliver Very Similar Results

Meanwhile the scientists studying the effects of resveratrol had only been conducting their experiments on lab mice for a few years so they were lingering stuck in the “oh wow” phase after seeing the life stretching results of their experiments. However; it was by chance that researchers from the two study groups met and were shocked to see such similarities in the results of their two entirely different experiments. So the next question was, does resveratrol also awaken this dormant “life extension gene”?

What About the Best Anti Aging Products Review - Is Resveratrol Key?

What about a diet high in low calorie foods and high in resveratrol rich foods? Can the combination of these two factors in fact double the life “extension gene “ awakening effect that these two groups of research scientists achieved?. The fact is that human studies are now ongoing but will take decades to conclude due to the much longer life span of humans. However the good news is that preliminary data gathered matches that in the test animals. Same behaviors same effects from resveratrol and calorie denial!

It appears from a report put out in 2007 that the once unquestionable integrity of Consumer Reports research work may now be called into question. For decades, the public has steadfastly relied on this research organization/magazine to be the voice of reason in a mass marketing society where the first victim of an effective promotional campaign is all too often the truth. So are they too now fudging their own test processes and data? Why not you be the judge on that.

Dealing With That “Vocal Element” When Your Trying to Look Your Best

Consumer Reports anti wrinkle creams report takes aim at product users

Be it buying expensive designer clothing or fashion accessories, having your nails done, joining an indoor tanning salon, getting a nip and tuck job at a local clinic or purchasing and using topical cosmetic products. We all know that theres always going to be that “vocal element” in the crowd thats going to have some sort of problem with it. It can even go as far a some turkey pulling out his or her bible and claiming that vanity is a sin.

Was This Consumer Reports Anti Wrinkle Creams Study Biased??

So whats the deal with the people at Consumer reports? How is it that they would allow a study like this to be put out that beginning with its first sentence, appears to be at least written by that “vocal element”. What in the hell do the people at Consumer Reports care if some lady in Tuscaloosa wants to spend her own money to look just a little bit better if she feels like it!

Two Blatant Errors In the Very First sentence - Whaaaat!!!

Two mistakes in the first sentence is off to a bad start

So lets check out this first sentence on whats supposed to be an unbiased scientific research report. “We have all heard the claims”. What freaking claims are they talking about! Are they suggesting that virtually all topical skin care product manufacturers all make the same “claims”. Also they aren't spoken, they're “printed”! As any high school English composition instructor can tell you, it should have been “We have all read the claims” because containers of hand cream can't talk!

Consumer Reports Advises That 10% Wrinkle Reduction Just Isn't Worth It!

Okay. So their first sentence contains two blatant errors that no credible scientific report should have in it. Blatant, biased sarcasm and a blatant compositional error. Lets just move on from there though because after all, theres more then one sentence in this so called “scientific report”. A report that in its final analysis advises all men and women out there who are concerned about their looks, that a “10% improvement just isn't worth it”.

Obviously a Low Budget Study Project

Hey Buddy. Can you spare a little change for a consumer products study?

Now with so many products to select for this Consumer Reports Anti Wrinkle Creams Study, I was more than a little anxious to read it. Hey! I could finally learn how so many of the products that I've seen advertised online stacked up. Well what a shock when I saw that this popular internationally distributed magazine could only afford to test but a mere handful of them. Whats the deal?! One would think that they would have gone through and picked some of the more popular new age wrinkle cream products! A Whole basket full!

Why Did the Consumer Reports Anti Wrinkle Creams Study Test So Few Products?

Nope! Sorry folks! All they chose to use in this test were a few primarily ultra-expensive French made products in the $200+ price range and a few cheaper products right out of your corner market in the $10+ price range. They did test a couple popular mid range priced products. Names that you might recognize, such Strivectin but that was about it. Finally, aside from their snide reference in their first sentence to so called “claims”, the report never mentions any details about what any specific products are advertised to do! Nothing!!

How Come They Avoided Mentioning Product Claims In Detail?

Hey! Don't ask questions!

The reason for that is simple and thats because if they had printed manufacturers claims, they would have found that their study results actually backed up what so many anti wrinkle cream manufacturers have printed on their labels. You see, not one product manufacturer claims that their anti wrinkle creams will completely eliminate wrinkles. Also most all claim that their products produce cumulate results. They take time! How much time???

If it Doesn't Eliminate Your wrinkles Completely - Dump It!!

Consumer reports says that after 90 days, if a product has diminished wrinkles by 10%, you should simply toss it in the trash can and never try to do anything about your wrinkles again. Your simply stuck with them and thats life. Hey! What about another 90 days you freakin idiots! Can you believe it?! So they're saying that the best products tested that actually did produce 10% wrinkle reduction on day 90, stopped working and did nothing more on day 91 or 92!!!

Eliminating Your Wrinkles Is Just a Big Waste Of Money Anyway!!!

Consumer Reports advises that you simply learn to acccept your wrinkles

Can you believe that they actually have the gall to explain their logic? They claim in the Consumer Reports Anti Wrinkle Cream Study that “not one cream was found to eliminate wrinkles completely” and therefore they're all considered a waste of money. Also because so many were found to produce different rates of improvement on different people in the test study, they're therefore unpredictable and a waste of money.

If Anti Wrinkle Creams Don't Work the Same On Everyone - Dump All Of Em!!!

Every anti wrinkle cream maker out there will be the first to tell you that all people and all skin types are different and that you shouldn't expect the same results that the next person achieved from using any one product. Some results are better and some are not so “better”. Hey! Everyone knows this! Thats why they have serums and other treatment products that are so often recommended to be used in conjunction with anti wrinkle creams. Hey Mr. Consumer Reports! Did you test any anti oxidant serums?? No?? Well why not?? I thought so!

You Really Have Got To Be Kidding Me!!

Don't try this at home kids

Finally, the Consumer Reports Anti Wrinkle cream Study makes some mention of an “wrinkle measuring machine” that they used to measure the results. This machine was how they came up with the quantitative 10% improvement figure! Can you believe it?! A “wrinkle-o-matic-altra-nutronic-nebulizer”! Now just who's really slinging the “BS” here? What is this machine and what is its margin for error? Even alcohol breath tests machines that are used in court have a margin for error and have to be periodically re-calibrated. Do they really think the public is just that stupid??!!

10% Fewer Wrinkle On My 50 Year Old Face Equals Five Years Off - I'll Take That”!!

What about skin tone and elasticity? Did it measure that? Did it measure how crows feet bunch up “or don't bunch up” when a person smiles after using an anti wrinkle product? Can you just picture some grim, gray haired scientist in horn rimmed glasses plugging some devise to some poor womans face to test a skin cream??? What a riot! I don't know about you but a 10% wrinkle reduction off my 50 year old face works out to be 5 years younger in 90 days and I'll gladly take that!

An anti-aging cream that’s received a great deal of attention in the last few years is Kinerase. Kinerase is a topical agent applied topically to the skin that’s being touted for its ability to reduce the visible signs of skin aging. It’s available without a prescription and is currently being marketed as a wrinkle reduction cream through physician offices, medical spas, and online. It’s claimed that kinerase gives similar skin anti-aging effects to the prescription retinoids without the side effects frequently seen with retinoids such as skin redness and peeling. Does kinerase really live up to the marketing claims?

What exactly is Kinerase and what gives it the ability to function as an anti-aging cream? The active ingredient in kinerase is a plant component known as kinetin. Kinetin is a plant derived component that functions in the plant as a growth hormone like substance to help retard aging of the plant. Because kinetin has shown the ability to slow down plant aging, it's thought to have some anti-aging properties when applied topically to human skin. Kinetin has also been shown to have antioxidant properties which may help to reduce the effects of free radicals on human skin cells. Another important property of kinectin is that it’s been shown to aid in repair of DNA , the genetic material found in every cell in the body, including skin cells.

A study carried out at the University of California in Irvine looked at different strengths of Kinerase and their effects on human skin over a 48 week period. The groups receiving the Kinerase showed significant improvement in the texture of the skin, the appearance of fine wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation. Although the results of this study show support for the topical anti-aging effects of Kinerase, double blind, placebo-controlled studies are still absent and it may be premature to say that Kinerase is as effective as the well studied, time tested topical retinoids.

Although Kinerase needs further study in order to be recommended as an alternative to prescription strength retinoid preparations, patient reviews of this product have been favorable. The preponderance of patients using Kinerase as an anti-aging cream report improvement in skin roughness, uneven skin pigmentation, and improvement in the appearance of fine wrinkles. Plus, its antioxidant effects and its ability to repair DNA make it likely that it would have some anti-aging benefits for aging skin.

Should you consider using Kinerase as an anti-aging skin treatment? If you make this choice, it won’t come cheaply. A half ounce of Kinerase based cream can cost over a hundred dollars. If you are unable to tolerate use of prescription strength retinoids due to skin irritation and redness, Kinerase may be a reasonable alternative. If you’re currently on prescription strength retinoids and are tolerating them well, Kinerase may not offer any additional advantages for you and it may be best to wait until studies comparing the effectiveness of retinoids versus Kinerase are completed before jumping on the Kinerase bandwagon.

As skin ages it tends to become drier and flakier which causes the skin surface to look dull. This can enhance any pre-existing wrinkles and skin imperfections giving the skin an aged appearance. As the weather changes and temperatures become cooler, dry skin can become even more pronounced. To restore moisture balance a treatment is needed to help maintain the skin’s moisture balance by preventing further loss of moisture as well as improve the skin’s texture. When it comes to selecting a dry skin treatment, there is a confusing array of products available. How do you know which one to select? Here are four ingredients that help with the symptoms of dry skin. Look for these four key ingredients on the label the next time you’re shopping for a dry skin cream:

Hydroxy acids

The hydroxyl acids have a dual role in treating dry skin. They act as exfoliators causing the dead skin cells on the skin’s surface to be shed more rapidly. This helps to relieve some of the dullness associated with dry skin and gives the skin a subtle glow. Hydroxy acids also act as humectants, drawing moisture from the environment and depositing it onto the surface of the skin. The combination of these two factors gives dry skin a softer, smoother appearance. Two of the most common hydroxy acids are lactic and glycolic acids. These ingredients are found in a variety of skin care products. They can be quite effective at moisturizing and improving the appearance of dry, dull skin.

Glycerin

Glycerin is another ingredient that serves as a humectant. By drawing moisture from the ambient air, it causes a slight swelling of the skin layer known as the stratum corneum which reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It’s found in some moisturizing creams as well as a variety of soaps used for dry skin treatment.

Lanolin

Lanolin is an occlusive type moisturizing agent extracted from the secretions of sheep sebaceous glands. It’s designated as an occlusive because it helps to prevent moisture loss from the deeper skin layers. It’s also one of the main ingredients in a popular skin lotion, Oil of Olay. While this moisturizing agent is effective, a certain portion of the population will experience sensitivity to it and should look for creams and lotions that are labeled lanolin-free.

Petrolatum

Petrolatum is another occlusive type of moisturizing agent. This ingredient is usually found in conjunction with other ingredients for treating dry skin since it’s quite oily when used on its own. It’s the active ingredient in the commonly used lubricant, Vaseline.

Look for these four ingredients when you’re shopping for a moisturizing treatment for dry skin. These ingredients can often be found in products that are quite reasonable in price. Expensive is not always better when it comes to dry skin care treatment. Sometimes simple is best.

With so much hype and misinformation associated with the marketing of anti-aging skin care products, it can be difficult to determine what actually works for improving the texture and appearance of aging skin. One skin care ingredient that’s been promoted heavily for skin rejuvenation is retinol. Is there truth behind the widely claimed benefits of usin retinol for skin rejuvenation?

Retinol is a purified form of vitamin A which is thought to stimulate collagen product when applied directly to the skin. It does this by stimulating skin fibroblasts, the cells that produce collagen, and by inhibiting the action of enzymes that promote breakdown of the skin’s collagen support structure.

The limiting factor with many skin care products that advertise that they promote collagen production is that the molecules are unable to penetrate deeply enough to gain access to the dermis where the fibroblasts are located. Hence, they’re unable to stimulate collagen synthesis despite their advertising claims. This where the retinol molecule is different. It has the ability to penetrate the outer layer of the skin, the epidermis, and gain access to the inner dermis where it can stimulate the fibroblasts to produce more collagen.

The ability to gain access to the dermis and stimulate collagen production gives retinol the ability to improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles as well as counteract some of the skin damage created by years of sun exposure. Retinol also increases the thickness of the outer skin layer, the epidermis. This results in a skin with a finer, more translucent texture as well as a reduction in skin roughness.

Do studies confirm that retinol works to improve the appearance of aging skin? A study performed on 31 subjects to test the effects of retinol on skin texture and appearance. The individuals had a 0.4% retinol solution applied to one arm and a placebo to the other. Not only did the arm that received the retinol show improvement in skin roughness and texture, but a skin biopsy revealed an increase in the precursors of collagen synthesis, suggesting that collagen production was being stimulated. In addition, retinol has been used by dermatologists and physicians for many years as an anti-aging cream with good results.

It appears that retinol is effective both in improving the texture of the skin as well as reducing the appearance of fine lines. By stimulating collagen production, it may also compensate for some of the solar damage accrued over the years. Although you can buy dilute retinol formulations over the counter, they may not have the same benefit as prescription formulations available from your doctor. Because prescription strict retinol in the form of Retin-A and its derivatives may be too irritating for some people’s skin, it may be prudent to start with a lower strength, non-prescription formulation and advance to the prescription form if results aren’t achieved. Remember to always wear a sunblock when using retinol since it increases sensitivity to the sun.

Although they seem to be an inevitable part of aging, there’s much that can be done to prevent wrinkles from forming and to slow down their progression once they do form. First, it’s important to understand what causes wrinkles to develop in the first place.

There are actually two generally types of wrinkles known as static wrinkles and dynamic wrinkles. Dynamic wrinkles are creases that are only present when there is movement of the face. This type of wrinkle tends to completely disappear when the face is at rest. In contrast, static wrinkles are present whether the face is moving or stationary. Dynamic wrinkles are generally the first wrinkles to develop as part of the aging process, although over time dynamic wrinkles can become static as the elasticity and the collagen support structure are lost and the skin is unable to snap back as readily.

Dynamic wrinkles can be treated by use of Botox injections which paralyzes the underlying facial muscle, resulting in decreased facial movement over the wrinkle which improves their appearance. Static wrinkles aren’t affected by Botox since they’re present even when the face is at rest. Static wrinkles require more aggressive measures such as injection with Restylane which acts as a filler to smooth out the static crease. Laser resurfacing can also have some effect on superficial static wrinkles.

Can static wrinkles be prevented? Although there is a component of natural aging that’s based on an individual’s underlying genetics, most wrinkles form as a result of overexposure to ultraviolet light. Exposure to ultraviolet light from the sun causes certain changes to occur in the underlying dermis that damages the underlying collagen and elastin structure which gives skin its support. When collagen and elastin fibers are lost, the skin becomes more lax and creases and sagging tend to develop. The best way to avoid aging related to exposure to ultraviolet light is to wear a sunscreen that blocks both UVA and UVB light with an SPF factor of at least fifteen.

There are certain topical agents that can help to stimulate collagen synthesis and prevent the formation of static wrinkles. These include products containing retinoic acids, alpha hydroxyl acids, peptides, and Vitamin C. Topical Vitamin E is also thought to have some skin anti-aging properties, possibly related to its ability to reduce free radical damage to skin cells.

As you can see static wrinkles can be prevented to a great extent by avoiding sun exposure and using topical products that help to stimulate collagen synthesis and reduce free radical damage. Once static wrinkles form, fillers and laser resurfacing can help to smooth out the appearance of superficial lines.

One of the first signs of skin aging experienced by many people is the appearance of tiny lines and creases at the corners of the eyelids commonly known as crow’s feet. These lines initially may not be noticeable until the person smiles or moves their face. Although they may be experienced only with movement at first, over time these creases deepen and become a permanent part of the facial architecture. The good news about crow’s feet is they can be prevented to some degree with proper anti-aging skin care habits. Here’s how to prevent crow’s feet from developing or worsening:

Wear sunscreen on a daily basis.

You probably already know what an important role the sun plays in promoting skin aging. This is particularly true for the delicate skin tissue around the eyes. One of the best ways to prevent crow’s feet is to invest in a good sunblock that filters out both UVA and UVB rays. It should have an SPF of at least fifteen to give optimal anti-aging protection. To be effective, it needs to be applied in sufficient amounts and worn consistently when you’re out in the sun.

Get a good pair of sunglasses.

When you spend time in the bright sun without sunglasses, you’ll squint without being aware of it. Repetitive squinting is a major factor in promoting formation of crow’s feet. Repetitive movements due to squinting eventually take their toll on the delicate tissue surrounding the eyes particularly when collagen production starts to dwindle with age. Buy a good pair of sunglasses and wear them every time you go out into bright sunlight. Be sure they have a good UV filter to prevent damage to your retina. Make them a standard part of your anti-aging strategy.

Take breaks from your computer monitor.

People rarely think of their computer monitor as contributing to skin aging and crow’s feet. If you stare at a bright monitor all day, your eyes will eventually fatigue and you’ll start to squint. The result is premature formation of undereye wrinkles and crow’s feet. If you work in front of a computer monitor all day, give your eyes frequent breaks.

Ditch the smokes.

Smoking is a major cause of premature skin aging as well as crow’s feet. The smoke from a burning cigarette creates eye irritation which encourages squinting. Plus, smoking reduces oxygenation of the skin tissue as well as vitamin C levels which can impact collagen synthesis. If you observe a smoker, they almost always have evidence of crow’s feet if they’re over the age of thirty. Kick the habit for your lungs as well as your skin.

Anti-aging eye care products can help.

Keep the area around the eyes moisturized with a product that contains vitamin C or glycolic acid. Vitamin C and glycolic acid are both thought to be anti-aging and appear to play a role in boosting collagen synthesis which helps to ward off crow’s feet. Another product proven to prevent fine lines, wrinkles, and crow’s feet is Retin-A. This anti-aging product is available by prescription from your doctor.

Another option

If you’re still not satisfied with the appearance of crow’s feet, you can have the area injected with Botox. This will immobilize the muscles which prevents squinting and can significant reduce the appearance of crow’s feet. These injections are usually done in a dermatologist’s or plastic surgeon’s office and can give instant improvement in the appearance of crow’s feet.

Don’t let crow’s feet ruin your appearance. Incorporate crow’s feet preventative measures into your anti-aging lifestyle and you’ll be rewarded with younger looking skin.
