I first encountered Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant when an esthetician used it on me during a facial I had.
I had been looking for something like this for a while, and after she used it on me I fell in love immediately.
- There's no artificial ingredients, Daily Microfolian is completely natural.
- The papin ingredient is an organic substance that actually removes the dead skin and is more safe than your typical scrub.
- It lasts a long time. One bottle gave me 4 - 5 months of using it every day.

My skin type- i had pimple free skin all during my teens, once i hit 21 years of age my skin went crazy! i had really terrible breakouts and this continued for 2 1/2 years or so. Particularly over the chin and cheeks area. I have light brown skin im a MAC NC30 of mixed european and desi descent.
During this time i tried sooo many creams, toners, acne products, exfoliants etc and i finally found a regimen to suit me and my acne calmed down. Now i rarely break out, only during my periods. But i am left with some acne scars on my cheeks, which i cover up with concealer.
The Dermalogica Microfoliant has honestly been a God send for me. I use about 4 times a week, in the morning. I scrub my face with it and then leave it on for a minute or so and then wash it off. TRUST ME when i say my scars are sooo visibly reduced! I’ve seen about a 70% improvement in my skin texture, i LOVE this product.
I would recommend it to anyone that wants to improve skin texture and help to reduce acne pigmentation.
BUT if you still have active acne i would say let that settle down first and then try this product.
I would recommend this product to anyone out there that has been throught the terrible stressful time i have been through with my skin. We all are entitled to have beautiful skin and this scrub does the job.
I’ve also noticed that when i use this scrub in the morning my makeup applies much smoother than usual and sets like a second skin with no flakiness as i found with the Clinique 7 day scrub.
Price wise its pretty steep, but a bottle lasts you a very long time. I think i bought mine from a salon for about £30 or so, and at the time i was thinking-oh gosh this better work for the price im paying for it and this was in the summer 09. I still have practically 85% left in the bottle, because a little certainly goes a very long way with this product. Think of it more as an investment product for great skin!
