Because I'm an esthetician I've been through a ton of different skin care products. One of my favorite lines is Dermalogica because I've had the best experiences with it over the years. I often recommend it to my clients who come in.
When it comes to the Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner, it's very refreshing and does the job well. From what I understand, it also restores the skin right back to it's proper PH state. I'm not sure what kind of secret formula Dermalogica employs to do something like that, but all I can say is that it works very well for my clients and I.
My Conclusion for Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner

I love the feeling of this toner. So far, I think this is the most effective toner I’ve tried although I don’t like the fact that it is in a spray bottle. I feel that this causes product loss because you can’t get an even spray so it takes multiple sprays to get it on. I think I may try just taking the top off and putting it on a cotton ball. Anyways, this helps my moisturizer go on nicely and works well for my combination skin.

Recently I decided to upgrade my skincare regime from the supermarket brands that I’d been using for years. I started with four Dermalogica products; Special Cleansing Gel, Skin Prep Scrub, Multi-active Toner and Skin Smoothing Cream.
Frankly, I don’t think a toner is really necessary. They hark back to when the standard cleanser was cold cream and an astringent was needed to remove the greasy residue.
I really sit on the fence with this product. It does no harm but on the other hand, it doesn’t produce a noticeable improvement. The spray dispenser is very good. The bottle is quite large and I’m sure will last me a long time, probably 12+ months. To make it easier to use, I keep a travel sized spritzer topped up instead.
The main benefit I see from using a toner is that because your skin is moist, you need to use less moisturiser as the cream spread further.
I’ll probably repurchase when this bottle eventually runs out.
