My 87 year old mother and I!
The 3 month long anti-aging study I did was simple and eye-opening.
The shortlist of goals were:
- What had the biggest and best effect: creams or supplements?
- What solutions worked and what didn’t?
- To find out the real results behind the latest Resveratrol craze and if it lived up to all the hype.
After trying 7 different anti-aging solutions over the course of 107 days I can report back the top 3 anti-aging solutions that performed the best.

Out of all the products I reviewed, being able to test Resveratrol was the most exciting for me. I first heard about it on the Anti-Aging segment Barbara Walters did on 60 Minutes. Watch that video here.
If You Haven’t Heard About Resveratrol Yet
You’ve no doubt heard the rumor that drinking a glass a day can make you live longer. The French are living proof of it – they lived longer despite having high fat diets. The secret was in the wine. The problem was nobody could find out why red wine was doing this, and how to concentrate the effects.
Until now. It would take 1,000 glasses of red wine to get the same anti-aging effect of ResVMax.
The Results of Taking ResvMax
After the 12th day of taking ResVMax (It’s a once per day supplement) I was really starting to feel the effects:
- My overall energy level was up. I wasn’t dragging my feel around in the morning – I felt perky and alive, something I haven’t felt since I was in my 20’s.
- My appetite was decreased. I wasn’t eating as much. It was too early to tell only a week into my taking this supplement, but after the first month I had already lost 4 pounds. Not a lot, but it was a nice bonus!
- Reservatrol is also said to protect your heart and guard you against diseases that go along with aging such as Alzheimers and Diabetes. While I’m not old enough to experience these, it’s nice having the peace of mind knowing that I have that extra protection.

Radical Skincare is said to contain 300x more anti-oxidant power than a normal bottle of StriVectin. This is because its ingredients include resveratol and the acai berry.
Putting my skeptism aside, I decided to give it a try after I read the guarantee at the bottom. It said that if anyone can find a product out there that has more antioxidant potency (has a higher ORAC score) then the company would double my money back.
My Results with Radical Skincare
I’m happy to report that this cream is giving me some good results.
Around 6 days after I started using it, I had 3 friends/coworkers compliment how great I looked. It was really working!
But there was an unfortunate downside…
A Con I Considered When Using Topical Creams
While this product did work well for me, I wouldn’t solely rely on a cream like this.
With anti-aging creams you’re not working from the inside out like you are with a good supplement. It’s not stopping and/or preventing the aging process, its treating something that’s already there.
Just something to think about, for this reason I gave it a 4/5 stars.

Restore is a typical topical cream that I tried out for 2 weeks with decent results. Nothing terribly spectacular like what I saw with the Resveratrol-based solutions, but there was still some affect nonetheless.
This anti-aging cream promises to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and boost collagen production.
Does It Make Good On These Promises?
My results were so-so. I noticed a slight difference around my eyes, but now as I write this I’m thinking I probably didn’t give it enough time to work to really form a valid opinion on the product. Restore was one of the first products I tried, and I was eager to get to the others to see what kind of results they could offer.
The Cons of Restore
Unfortunately Restore only gives you 12 days to try it out, so you don’t have a ton of time to see if it really works.
Using topical creams like these is just covering a problem under the skin. For the best results, combine it with a solid resveratrol supplement.
It does have the cheapest free-trial offer around, however. If you try to go to another website while you’re visiting their site, you can get in on the free-trial for only $2.00 S&H. I’m not sure how long this will last, however.
To be on the safe side, I gave this anti-aging cream a 3/5.
