Imedeen Time Perfection is one of the more unusual skin care products. Its neither a cream nor a botanical, its not a gel or a spray, it’s a pill. There aren't many pills on the market that claim to be skin care products and that makes this a little suspicious in the first place. This product has neither been reviewed by, nor endorsed by the FDA. The only claim in that regard is that it is safe for consumption. The maker recommends the product to 35 to 50 year olds and that it is composed of an exclusive "Bio marine Complex", Lycophence GS which is a patented skin defense substance and a number of other ingredients. The maker also states that the product will take at least 3 months of continuous use before you will see any real results.
The potential advantage of this is clear, as a tablet the effect, if any, would be system-wide rather then just the face. It would allow the use of other, targeted products on the face with potentially less conflict between the different products. So is it junk or a miracle? Well the reviews are very mixed. Some users report good results have been using the product for up to a year. Several reported good results initially but stopped using it due to acne outbreaks that may have been caused. Most of the people that have tried it report little identifiable effect. While this is not "Junk" per se, if you are interested in the product, you should consult with your physician prior to taking it just to be safe.

1.0 out of 5 stars Zero results, February 14, 2009

I have used this for one year to really give it a chance. The results have added up to a big zero. No change. No anything. I am done using it. Save your money... eat right, exercise and stay out of the sun.

Really Wanted to Love It” -February 21, 2007
I really wanted to love Imedeen. I am in my late 30s and have always struggled with dry skin. I liked the idea of taking a supplement to improve the quality of my skin. Unfortunately, I experienced a surprising allergic reaction to this product resulting in moderate eyelid and facial swelling.

I bought 3 packages of the “Imedeen Time Perfection” at $98 Canadian for each box of 120 tablets (one month supply). I used the prescribed amount (2 tablets per day) faithfully for 3 months. I’ve just finished my last box & will not re-purchase. For the price I truly did not see enough change in my skin to deem this a worthy product. I think that good skin care products, vitamins that specifically address your skin care & health needs are much more effective. I bought this product with a ‘buy 2, get the 3rd 1/2 price.’ In my box was an “Imedeen Insider’s Club” registration form where you can accumulated ‘points’ and get your 6th box free. Well, I have never had ANY correspondence either from mail or email. I did email the company about this a month ago & received a reply that “they work on each subscription as they come in but recommend you take the supplements regardless as they will be in touch.” What??? Forget about it- Lots of $ down the drain with little results in my opinion.
