The main active ingredient in this product and several other Kinerase skin care products, is kinatin. All you have to do is look at any of the many adds for Kinerase to see this. But just what is kinatin?

Kinatin it turns out, is a plant based derivative that has been studied for years. It's basically a substance that plants use to help them stay green, healthy and plump in the all too often harsh environments that they have to exist in.

It's a class of plant hormone formally known as a cytokinin and yes it has been clinically proven to promote cell division. In fact research has shown that kinatin is present in “almost all” DNA of living tissues.

Be aware though that kinatin and some of the other ingredients contained in Kinarase products such as peptides can cause skin irritation in some people. Even so, reports of severe reactions have been rare.

If this causes you to shy away from this product in any way, you need to be aware that possible side effect of this type are a risk that you take once you move away from “oily feel good” products and towards products that contain synthesized chemicals.

So the bottom line is that while Kinerase products, and that would include their intensive eye cream, do work. They are also expensive and definitely not for the person who is looking for a “natural or organic” treatment product.

I read many positive (and very few negative) reviews before I ordered my first tube. I am 65 living in Florida and have been using it once daily on face and back of hands for about 4 months. The cream goes on smoothly, and I have had no negative reaction. Friends tell me that my face is noticeably younger looking, with less wrinkles. In fact two friends, based on my favorable experience, are also planning to purchase Kinerase.

I love every Kinerase product I have tried, the C8 Peptide, the Cleanser, and this eye cream. I have seen a reduction in some lines after using it for awhile. I have sensitive skin and have never broken out or had redness from any Kinerase product. Worth the money to me because it works, as opposed to buying many products which don't.

This is a completely adequate, non-revolutionary, totally ordinary eye cream. Not worth the price, by any means. I had heard so much about the Kinerase line that I got this as my first foray into the line…now I’m probably not going to go any further…it’s that unimpressive. Highly overpriced for what it is. It is a fairly heavy consistency, but it doesn’t seem to moisturize terribly well. It also doesn’t sink in well, although the texture is such that I never felt that it was greasy.
Overall, I just don’t care for the product. It isn’t exactly BAD, just not GOOD—basically, just an average, run-of-the-mill eye cream.

I absolutely LOVE this eye cream! I just turned 30 & am starting to see a few lines around my eyes. This hydrates my under eye area like a dream! I got a gift set from sephora with a bunch of Kinerase items & am so glad! I never would’ve tried this cream other wise! It instantly showed a huge difference on my under eyes! The only downfall is the huge price & that is why i gave it low rating for that selection otherwise it is a great product!
