The one and possibly the only problem with Kinerase lotion aside from its high price, is it's relatively high rate of causing skin irritation. It's something that its manufactures just avoid talking about.
The ingredients list reads like an order form for a chemical supply house, so if your looking for a “natural and benign” product, you definitely better keep on looking.
Don't be taken in by any of the information that promotes kinatin as being a “gentle” plant based substance either. Yes it's derived from plant matter but the fact is that to many people it's an irritant.
Now for the plus side. Kinerase lotion and kinatin do in fact work. Now this lotion won't produce the results that most of its advertisers say it will but “over-hype” just comes with the territory.
Kinerase lotion contains several substances above and beyond kinatin that have been clinically proven to induce skin to retain moisture and treat hyper-pigmentation.
However; be forewarned that all kinerase skin care products, including their skin care lotion, don't come cheap. What this means is that you can expect to pay upwards of $75 for a tube that weighs less than 2 ounces.
So if you're tired of all the feel good/smell good herbal/botanical products that are out there and are ready to “wage chemical warfare” on your age related skin issues, this would definitely be a product to try.

Kinerase is a cream that demishes lines and wrinkles as well as dark spots. I really enjoy this product as it didn't take but a week to see a difference. I use it everyday twice a day.

Absolutely love this moisturizer! Once autumn finally kicked in down here in steamy New Orleans this year, my skin sort of went crazy. Luckily, Tazorac had finally gotten breakouts under control, but the climate change made my skin very dry & irritated. My typically oily/shiny skin now had that dry crepe-y texture and looked so old. I went to Sephora to find a more soothing/emollient moisturizer. I was directed toward the Clinique area (never a huge fan) and passed Kinerase along the way. Since I had always avoided anti-aging products due to breakouts, I figured now was a good time to give it a try. Thank goodness I did, this lotion instantly took away the dryness/crepe-y texture and my skin has continued to improve. I have always had issues w/redness & blotchiness and this has improved that to some extent. My skin reacts to just about everything, but this has caused no irritation or sensitivity. Being 30, I was just starting to see some fine lines, but they seem to have halted now. I typically have that unfortunate type of skin that’s oily, yet still tight & sensitive. Last time I saw my esthetician she remarked that my skin was very supple & well moisturized. That was definitely the first time I had ever heard that.
Of all the (non-prescription) skincare products I have & adore, this is the one that has made the biggest difference in my complexion. I’m usually quite flaky w/products, always wanting to try something new, but since trying Kinerase lotion I refuse to be w/out it.
