Strivectin SD Eye Cream has a pretty amazing “if a bit hard to believe” story. The initial Strivectin SD product was developed as a treatment for stretch marks but was discovered later on by its users to be effective on wrinkles.
Well of all the things to forget to check! Now you would think that with all the brilliant minds involved, at least one of them would have taken a moment to see how the stuff worked on wrinkles. Hey! What else did they forget to check?
Another amazing thing about Strivectin SD Eye cream, is the actual number of ingredients that it contains. Over one-hundred in total! The fascinating thing though, is that really only a few of them have been shown in clinical tests to lessen wrinkles by stimulating collagen and elastin production.
Those would include Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3 and Palmitoyl Oligopeptide. I really do think that so many of the others, including sesame seed oil, sweet almond oil, hydrolyzed wheat protein, coco butter and mango butter would be better in a snack food.
Oh sure there's lots of other stuff with “chemical sounding names” in it. C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Polyglyceryl Methacrylate, Triethanolamine, etc. But most all of them are just preservatives and stuff to give it a silky texture or to make your skin “shine”.
So then let's try to look beyond the hype and there is a heck of a lot of hype to get past here. The fact is that it does contain a few substances that have been clinically proven to induce collagen and elastin production.
So if you have the $60 it takes to pick up a “tiny 1.3 oz tube” of this stuff, than you may want to give it a try. Now some people will obtain better results that others. However; if you're one of the lucky ones, it may work “great” for you.

Within a couple of days I could see a very notable difference in the lines around my eyes. However, although this claims - as a somewhat secondary effect - to reduce dark circles, the results are minimal. This eye cream works mainly to reduce lines in the orbital area - and it does it pretty darn well! Will repurchase.

Have been using this product for a couple years and love it. Everyone thinks I look 40 when I am really 52

I was skeptical about this, and worried a little because some reviewers thought it was very harsh, and my skin can be sensitive. Turns out I really love the stuff, and have had no problems with irritation. The lines around my eyes are better, and I'm very satisfied with this product.

I have found my HG eye cream!!
First, a little background about what I’m looking for in an eye cream. I have virtually no dark circles and whatever puffiness I get comes not from sleep but from emotional moments, so there’s that. However, I do have some tiny fine lines right below (not beside) my eyes. I have tried many different eye creams and have been overwhelmingly disappointed with the results (Philosophy, I’m looking at you!). I actually received a large (1 ounce) sample of this some time ago, and initially I didn’t like it. When I first got it, I over-applied and found that it made my eyes water and burn a little, as well as “glue” my eyelashes shut in the morning. Because of those results, I gave up on using it for a while (like I do with many of my products) and began searching for another eye cream.
After using a bunch of different ones, I thought I’d give this one a go again before I bought something waaay more costly (like la Mer or Z. Bigatti) than my giant free sample (my husband was happy with that!). This time I actually read the directions, and since I don’t have any need for it, I didn’t even bother applying the product to my upper eyelid. Instead, every night for the last few weeks, I’ve been applying a thin-ish coat right below my eye area and sort of extending to my cheekbone area. This stuff WORKS. My fine lines (which had gotten much worse possibly thanks to Philosophy’s Eye Hope!) have seriously disappeared. They weren’t too tremendously noticeable from far away, but they were definitely there… and now they’re gone!!
I will be buying this again and now I’m interested in what Strivectin’s other products can do for me regarding stretch marks/neck lines/etc. For the cost, it is absolutely worth it. I hope they never discontinue this product!!
