Discontinued products sure can make shopping for skin care treatments confusing. Now with a line as massive as Olay Regenerist, this really is an understatement. You go to a companies main site and there before your eyes is a complete listing of what they offer. Then you click to yet another site and there are a handful of items that weren't shown on the main company site.
So then what's the deal? The deal is that for the most, part skin care product companies don't like to show what they discontinued for a few sensible reasons. First and foremost, they simply don't want you knowing that any of their products weren't success stories. Also they don't like to show them, lest they inspire you to go out looking elsewhere for a bargain on a discontinued product.
On the same token, the sites that list these discontinued products certainly don't want you to knew that they're clearance items. The reason for that is basic. That is that if you know that they're no longer in production you'll be less inclined to pay the higher standard prices that they like to charge. Micro Sculpting Cream
This product is purported to contain their highest concentration of their specially formulated amino-peptide complex. Peptides are the main building blocks of collagen, so this product functions by hydrating and plumping back up lost fulness. It also contains a few proven effective soluble skin nutrients, such as B3 complex. What's most important though, is that all that it contains can penetrate the skins outer protective epidermal layer. Keep in mind that peptides are powerful active ingredients and can cause minor skin irritation with some users. The remedy in most cases of peptide irritation, is to simply cut back the dose and allow the skin time to acclimate.
Micro-Sculpting Serum
This serum is basically almost chemically identical to the above listed cream. It contains their unique peptide protein matrix, along with the other vital skin nutrients and delivers results in as little time as five days. Results are cumulative with both of these products but you do run a higher risk of irritation with the serum, which is meant for discreet problem areas. Serums like this also work much better under makeup than creams.

This product uses a time release formula for the same amino-peptide matrix/B3 formula as the above listed formula. It's not hard to figure out that they all are meant to be used in conjunction with one another for total 24 hour treatment. This product is very similar to the above listed more powerful SPF 50 moisturizing sunblock. So then why the alternative? They offer this SPF 25 blocker for the person who's looking for something with a bit lighter presence. Granted; Defense Regenerating Lotion SPF 50 can be used under makeup but being that it is SPF 50, it will be heavier.
UV Defense Regenerating Lotion - SPF 15
This product is not only a lighter version of the above two listed moisturizer/sunblocks but UV Defense Regenerating Lotion - SPF 15 also contains the same full strength peptide + B3 formula that you will find in some of their more powerful clinically proven skin penetrating therapy products.

This product in fact contains one of the highest concentrations of their amino-peptide matrix + B3 currently available. Once again, keep in mind that peptides do bring with them the potential for skin irritation and this is concentrated peptide therapy.
Fragrance Free Regenerating Serum
This is quite simply the exact same product as the one shown directly above it but in this case it's 100% fragrance free. Be aware however, that lack of a fragrance can lead to inadvertent over use, resulting in negative side effects from the high peptide concentration.
